These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and **** ("A2Z", "we", "us"), whose registered office is at . They apply to the website https://a2zed.in and the A2Z Android and iOS apps (together, the "Platform"). By creating an account, or by using the Platform, you accept these Terms together with the Privacy Policy, Posting Rules, Paid Services Policy and Communication Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account.
1. What A2Z is
A2Z is an online classifieds platform. We provide space where users list items, vehicles, properties, jobs and services and where buyers and sellers find each other. A2Z is an intermediary. We do not own, sell, inspect or guarantee any listed item or service, and we are not a party to any deal between users. Every deal is solely between the buyer and the seller.
2. Eligibility and your account
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract in India.
- The Platform is meant for use in India. Listings are currently focused on Maharashtra.
- Give true and current information. Use an email address you own. We verify your account with a one-time password (OTP) sent to your email (and later to your mobile number).
- One person, one account. Do not create accounts to avoid a block, a limit or a ban.
- Keep your OTP and device secure. You are responsible for everything done through your account.
- Accounts can be marked Verified or Unverified. A "Verified" badge only means the user completed our verification steps; it is not a guarantee of any deal.
3. Your listings and content
- You own your content. You give A2Z a free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, display, copy, resize, translate and promote it on the Platform, in search results, in emails/notifications and in our advertising, for as long as it is on the Platform and for a reasonable period after.
- You promise that you have the right to post it, that it is accurate, that it is not misleading, and that it follows the Posting Rules.
- Photos must be of the actual item. Do not use other people's photos or watermarked images without permission.
- Real estate: where the law requires it (for example under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016), you must show a valid MahaRERA registration number. Do not post misleading prices, areas or possession dates.
- Free listing limits (number of free listings and how many days each stays live) are shown on the Platform and may be changed by A2Z. A change does not affect a listing already published for its paid period.
4. Rules of conduct
You must not: post prohibited items or content (see Posting Rules); cheat, impersonate, or ask for advance payments without delivering; scrape, copy or bulk-collect data from the Platform; send spam; use bots; try to break, overload or bypass the security of the Platform; use the Platform for money laundering or any unlawful purpose; harass other users; or share another person's contact details or private information without consent. Chat messages may be scanned automatically to detect fraud and abuse.
5. Safety — deal at your own risk
Meet in a public place, inspect before you pay, and do not pay advance money to people you have not met. A2Z does not hold your money, does not guarantee delivery, quality, legality or ownership, and does not verify every user or listing. Check documents (RC book, sale deed, MahaRERA registration, invoices) yourself.
6. Our right to act
We may, at our discretion and without prior notice where needed: review, reject, edit, hide or remove any listing or content; limit contact details shown; suspend, restrict or permanently ban any account; and share information with law enforcement or regulators when the law requires or when we believe it is needed to prevent fraud or harm. We use automated systems and human moderators to do this. If we take action against you, you can contact our Grievance Officer (see Grievance Redressal).
7. Paid services
Packages, featured listings, banners and other paid services are governed by the Paid Services, Refund and Cancellation Policy. Prices are in Indian Rupees and include or exclude GST as shown at checkout.
8. Notices, emails and notifications
By opening an account you agree to receive service messages (OTP, alerts, account and listing updates) and to the communications described in the Communication Policy, including promotional emails which you can switch off at any time using the unsubscribe link or your account settings. WhatsApp messages are sent only if you opt in separately.
9. Intellectual property
The A2Z name, logo, design, software and database belong to A2Z or its licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer or reuse them without written permission.
10. Third-party links and services
The Platform may link to third-party websites, payment gateways, maps and advertisers. We are not responsible for them.
11. Disclaimer
The Platform and all content are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, A2Z does not promise that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any listing or user is genuine, accurate, legal or safe.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, A2Z is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss from any deal between users. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Platform is limited to the amount you paid A2Z for paid services in the 3 months before the claim (or ₹1,000 if you paid nothing). Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
13. Your responsibility to A2Z (indemnity)
You will compensate A2Z for losses, claims and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your breach of these Terms or the law, or your dealings with other users.
14. Ending your account
You may stop using A2Z and ask us to delete your account at any time (see Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end your account for breach of these Terms or the law. Clauses that by their nature should continue (content licence, liability, indemnity, governing law) continue after the account ends.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms or the other documents. When we do, we raise the version number and ask you to accept the new version when you next log in or open the app. If you do not accept, you cannot continue to use the account (you can still ask for deletion).
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Pune, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any consumer-forum right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Please contact our Grievance Officer first; we will try to resolve it quickly.
