Posting Rules and Prohibited Items

These rules apply to every listing, photo, message and profile on A2Z. We reject or remove anything that breaks them and may ban repeat offenders.
1. General rules
- One item or property per listing, in the right category, with a true title, price and description.
- Use your own, real photos of the actual item. No stock photos, no photos of other sellers' items, no contact details on images.
- No phone numbers, emails or links in the title or description; use the contact options we provide.
- No duplicate listings. Do not re-post the same item to stay on top.
- The price must be the real price. "Price on call" or ₹1 to hide the price is not allowed in price fields.
- Real estate: show the MahaRERA registration number where required, the true area and the true possession status. Brokers must say they are brokers.
- Only post what you own or are authorised to sell, rent or promote.
2. Not allowed on A2Z
- Anything illegal in India, or that helps commit an offence.
- Weapons, ammunition, explosives, fireworks; drugs, narcotics and psychotropic substances, prescription medicines; tobacco and vaping products; alcohol where sale is not legally permitted.
- Stolen goods, goods with disputed title, counterfeit or pirated goods, forged documents, fake certificates, SIM cards and phone numbers for sale, hacked accounts, personal data lists.
- Live animals where prohibited by law, wild animals, animal parts, protected plants and wood.
- Human body parts, organs, blood, surrogacy and adoption services; adult or sexual services; escort or "dating for money" offers.
- Lottery, gambling, betting, MLM and chain schemes, "get rich quick", loan-without-documents, investment or crypto offers promising returns; advance-fee and "registration fee" job offers.
- Hate speech, content that promotes violence, harasses a person, threatens, defames, or shows nudity or sexual content; content involving children in any harmful way.
- Content that threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign states or public order, or that is against the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
- Anything that infringes someone's copyright, trademark, patent or privacy.
- Viruses, malware, or links to phishing or fake sites.
- Government-controlled items and official uniforms/ID; used undergarments; expired food and medicine; hazardous chemicals.
3. Cars, bikes and other vehicles
Must be legally owned with valid RC; no cloned/stolen vehicles; no vehicles under finance/hypothecation unless clearly stated; do not post a number plate that is not yours.
4. Jobs
No fee may be asked from a job seeker. Salary and employer must be genuine. Clearly show the location and role.
5. Services
You must hold any licence the work needs. No guarantee claims you cannot prove.
6. What happens if you break the rules
We may reject or remove the listing, limit your account, ban you, withhold a refund for a paid service tied to the violating listing, and report the matter to the authorities. You can ask for a review through the Grievance Officer.
7. Reporting
Use the "Report" button on any listing or message, or write to . We act on reports promptly and, where the law requires, within the time limits set by the IT Rules, 2021.
